Our Projects

Education

Education is the “golden door” to a better life for the young. Warm Heart’s educational programs provide children from isolated Hill Tribe villages access to education, and remedial education for very poor children.

Education

The situation: The average level of schooling of people living in Phrao is 4th grade.

The Warm Heart philosophy: Warm Heart believes that education is the golden exit from poverty for the children of Phrao.

What Warm Heart does: Warm Heart improves education for all Phrao Valley children by running After School classes four days a week, and a full-day Saturday School. Warm Heart classes provide more than 150 children supplemental classes in English, sports, local arts and culture, and Thai. With over 80 children attending Warm Heart’s After School and over 150 attending Saturday School, our educational programs are a huge success. They are also evidence of families' desire for a better education for their children.
