The Green Café
The First Building of Warm Heart's Regenerative Learning Center
Artist Rendition of finished cafe.
The Green Café will represent the first completed building of Warm Heart's future Regenerative Learning Center.
More than just a coffee shop, the Green Café is designed to demonstrate how businesses can have a positive impact on both people and the environment.
It will serve as a gathering place, a learning center, and a working example of practical sustainability in action.
When completed, the Green Café will feature solar power, rainwater collection systems for garden irrigation, natural cooling techniques, sustainable landscaping, and a demonstration garden growing vegetables and herbs.
Visitors will be able to see these systems working together while enjoying locally sourced food and refreshments.
As the first completed building on the campus, the Green Café will become the gateway to future demonstrations and educational programs focused on regenerative agriculture, renewable energy, sustainable construction, water conservation, and other practical technologies that can improve lives while protecting the environment.

Turning Vision Into Reality
The exciting news is that this project is no longer just a dream.
The exciting news is that this project is no longer just a dream.
Construction of the Green Café is already approximately 80% complete.
The building structure is standing, the walls are finished, and much of the hard work has already been done.
To bring the project across the finish line, we still need to complete final construction, install a stronger roof support system capable of carrying solar panels, finish the rainwater collection system, develop the demonstration garden, and furnish the café for opening day.
With a little more support, the Green Café can move from construction site to community gathering place.

Built by Volunteers, Built for the Future
The Green Café has been more than a construction project—it has been a learning opportunity.
Much of the work has been completed by volunteers working alongside Warm Heart staff.
Several of the older children and young adults at Warm Heart have also helped build the café, gaining hands-on experience with sustainable construction techniques and environmentally responsible design.
By participating in the project, they are learning that buildings can do more than provide shelter—they can help conserve resources, reduce waste, and protect the environment.
From working with recycled Styrofoam bricks to understanding natural cooling design, solar energy, and rainwater collection systems, participants are gaining practical skills that can help them build greener homes, businesses, and communities in the future.
One of the goals of the Regenerative Learning Center is to teach people how to create a better future through practical action. The Green Café is already doing exactly that.
Long before the doors open, it has become a classroom where young people are learning how to build green and build a better future for themselves and their communities.

A Demonstration of Green Technology
The Green Café was designed from the beginning to showcase practical sustainability solutions that people can understand and replicate.
The building is constructed using recycled Styrofoam bricks, transforming waste materials into a useful building product.
These bricks provide insulation, reduce waste, and demonstrate an innovative approach to environmentally responsible construction.
Additional sustainability features will include:
Together, these systems will show visitors that environmentally responsible solutions can also be practical, affordable, and effective.
The Beginning of a Larger Vision
The Green Café is only the first step.
The Warm Heart Regenerative Learning Center will continue to grow with additional demonstrations, workshops, and educational projects focused on helping communities become more resilient and sustainable.
Future projects may include:
The Green Café will serve as the welcoming center for this growing campus and the first example of what is possible when sustainability, education, and community development come together.
